The “Disaster Proof House” project was definitely a fun project for the whole class. We were all assigned a group of people to work with. When we get assigned groups, I feel like it really teaches me how to work with other people that I’m not familiar working with. It prepares me for the future and strengthens my collaboration skills. This project was all about picking a place in the world with a disaster that occurs there and building a house that could survive it! So my team and I all came together and choose Paraguay with the natural disaster floods. We now had to come together and think of a way we could build a house and make it so that it could survive a flood! This was the best project that I’ve ever done because of how much work my team and I put into this house. Unfortunately, our roof wasn't put onto the house all the way making it so that water did come into the house. If the roof was on all the way then I'm almost 100% sure that it would've survived the flood. So in my mind, our house survived the flood.
